What's On Your Mind?
Do midwives only deliver babies?
The role of midwives has expanded greatly. Today, we handle all kinds of gynecologic services, including pap tests, urinary incontinence issues, birth control counseling and management, treatment of sexually transmitted infections, and more.
Can I see a midwife and a doctor for my care?
Absolutely. You can see both for your obstetric appointments. We only ask that you let us know by your 26th week if you feel a doctor or a midwife will be the best match for your birthing expectations.
Can I make a birth plan?
We welcome the creation of a birth plan by our obstetric patients. It's a terrific way to account for your individual needs and ensure a great birthing experience.
What type of birth control options do you offer?
We offer oral contraception, Mirena and Paragard IUDs, Implanon, and permanent sterilization methods.
I have urinary leakage, what can I do?
We offer both surgical and non-surgical methods for this concern. Contact our office and we'll schedule an appointment to review your symptoms and treatment options.
I have heavy periods, is this normal?
Most patients see this as just a normal part of being a woman. But if you're experiencing either heavy or infrequent periods, it's best to schedule a visit to discuss options for these and other potentially related issues.
Am I experiencing menopause?
Infrequent periods and hot flashes tend to initiate conversations about menopause. For medical advice and counseling, call us to set up an appointment.
Where are you located?
Having offices in York, Wells and South Berwick is a convenience our patients throughout the seacoast area appreciate.
